This dataset shows Flood Zone 2 and should be used with Flood Zone 3 to estimate areas at risk of flooding when flood defences are ignored. It also cover land between Zone 3 and the extent of the flooding from rivers or the sea with a 1 in 1000 (0.1%) chance of flooding each year.Dataset forms part of 'The Flood Map for Planning' (Rivers and Sea) shows the areas across England that could be affected by flooding from rivers or the sea. It also shows flood defences and the areas that benefit from them. |
